Bullerjan hot air furnaces have been around for about 30 years now with a loyal following in North America and mainland Europe.
They were first devised by Canadian Lumberjacks in the snowy Rocky Mountains for heating the log cabin quickly. They wanted the warmth to be evenly distributed.
These workers wanted to use what was freely available to them - wood - to warm their cabins. They set about making a stove of curved tubes and burning the wood within the barrell shape they had created. The curved pipes enabled the hot air to rapidly convect into the room. They had developed what we now know as the Bullerjan wood burning stove.
Continued development now means a range of exciting and interesting styles which can be tailored to suit almost any room. The Classic range, looking like a throwback to the age of steam, looks well placed in any traditional setting with natural brick and timber.
The Design range with quality Stainless Steel surround is suited to more styling, contemporary settings.
The Stone models offer practicality by storing heat in the terracotta or soapstone surround to dissapate once the fire has subsided.
Because of the unique way in which Bullerjan is able to get heat out of the wood it burns and into the room effectivly an Industrial range is poossible with capacity of 45kw capable of warming 1300meters cubed of space.
A number of stove retailers have displays with working knowledge of the advantages, features and benefits of these unique stoves.

Thank you.
Bullerjan burns wood within a firebox made from curved tubes.
Air in the tubes warms rapidly and rises drawing cooler air in beneth which sets up warm air convection.
This distributs the warmth evenly and quickly around the room.
Also, side panels trap radiant heat and make more convected hot air.
Available in six sizes:
6, 11, 14, 20, 35, 45 kW.
